Bamboo and Wood Manufacturing Capabilities

SHENGLIAN Bamboo & Wood Products is an integrated producer of bamboo and wooden homeware, kitchenware, tableware, organization products, office accessories and branded gifts. Within approximately 12,000 square metres of production and warehousing facilities in China, our workflow connects material preparation, component processing, machining, finishing, assembly, inspection, packaging, storage and export order preparation. Brand owners, retailers, importers, distributors and procurement teams can submit drawings, reference samples or specifications for a project-specific manufacturing feasibility review.

Factory Workflow

How a Product Moves Through the Factory

Production planning starts with the confirmed product specification and accepted sample or other agreed reference. These define the material direction, dimensions, structure, appearance, function, branding and packaging that guide the order.

01

Material Intake and Preparation

Incoming materials are inspected and prepared for the required product and component format.

02

Component Production

Cutting, forming, panel joining, pressing and CNC machining create parts according to the product specification.

03

Surface Processing

Precision sanding and surface finishing prepare the specified appearance and handling characteristics.

04

Decoration and Assembly

Laser engraving or screen printing may be applied where suitable, followed by assembly for multi-component products.

05

Inspection and Packing

Finished products proceed through inspection before packing, storage and export order preparation.

06

Control points include incoming inspection, first-article approval, in-process, finished-product and pre-shipment inspection.

Component Formation

Material Preparation, Cutting and Component Construction

Early production stages establish the dimensions and structure required for later machining and assembly. Verified processes include raw material preparation, cutting and forming, panel joining and pressing.

Machining and Finish

CNC Machining, Sanding and Finish Preparation

Machining and finishing decisions depend on the product drawing, selected material, intended use and accepted sample. Buyers should define critical dimensions, feature locations, appearance and touch points for review.

CNC machining creates controlled profiles, recesses, openings or other drawing-defined features where required.

Sanding and finishing follow project-specific appearance, handling and use requirements; one finish is not suitable for every product.

Laser Engraving and Screen Printing

Available decoration options are assessed against the surface, artwork, placement and expected appearance.

Review artwork, decoration methods and branding results on the selected material and product format.

Production Controls

Assembly and In-Process Production Checks

Assembly connects prepared components according to the confirmed product structure. Component fit, orientation, appearance and function must remain consistent with the accepted specification.

01

Products Without an Assembly Requirement Continue Through the Relevant Finishing and Inspection Sequence.

02

First-Article Approval Checks an Early Production Item Against the Agreed Product Requirements Before the Order Proceeds Further.

03

In-Process Inspection Supports Review While Production Is Underway and Can Identify Differences Before the Full Order Reaches Final Inspection.

04

Inspection Criteria Depend on the Product and the Requirements Confirmed for the Project.

05

Tolerances, Acceptance Criteria and Required Testing Must Be Defined Rather Than Assumed.

06

SHENGLIAN Does Not Apply an Unconfirmed Defect Limit, Performance Result or Certification Claim to a Buyer's Order.

Packing and Storage

Final Inspection, Packaging and Export Order Preparation

Finished-product inspection checks completed items against project requirements. Pre-shipment inspection is a separate final control stage before dispatch preparation under the agreed commercial arrangements.

Standard Export Packaging

Decision: protection and order packing format. Provide the quantity, destination and handling requirements.

Decision: retail structure and printed presentation. Provide the format, artwork and product layout.

Labels and Barcodes

Order Planning

MOQ, Capacity and Bulk Production Planning

Order planning considers the product, material, dimensions, branding method, packaging and customization requirements. These variables affect manufacturing feasibility, scheduling and quotation.

Standard MOQ

The standard minimum order quantity is 1,000 units, subject to project review and quotation.

Capacity is approximately 200,000 pieces monthly and up to 2.4 million yearly, depending on product mix and complexity.

Bulk Production Timing

Production normally takes 30–45 days after approval, subject to complexity, quantity, packaging and the production schedule.

Project-Specific Quotation

The quotation confirms quantity, packaging, testing, delivery, payment terms, Incoterms and shipping arrangements.

Review how product and order variables affect capacity assessment and production planning.
